Here we are, the year of comics is officially launched with his first big event: the opening of the international comics festival
The Ministry of Culture wants to take the opportunity of 2020 to highlight the creation of comics. Naturally, nothing better than starting with the comics festival in Angoulême from January 30th to February 2nd.
What’s on the agenda? Drawn concerts, dedicated spaces (manga, comic book, SNCF adventure), lots of exhibitions, and masterclass! Everything is ready to bring joy to all the comic book lovers.
This year the 47th edition official selection contains 43 albums. The grand jury is composed of Marion Montaigne, President, Simon Roussin, Dominique A, Ali Baddou, Noémie Lvovsky, Aurélia Vertaldi, and Olivier Maltret. The winners will be announced in a few days.
